Minutes All business conducted by Carrickfergus Borough Council is managed by a comprehensive Committee system. This system reflects the Council’s Department Structure and each Committee meets every month of the year, in order to efficiently direct the business of the Council. All decisions taken at Committee level are ratified at the Council Meeting which normally occurs on the first Monday of each month.
