Recycling – it’s never ‘bin’ easier
Recycling of our waste is no longer a discretionary option – under strict EU and UK laws, it’s a legislative requirement. In addition, as fines may be imposed if levels of waste entering landfills are not reduced, it vital that members of the public fully use the recycling facilities that the Council has in place. So it is vital that we all play our part and make the recycling of our household, domestic and garden waste a part of our everyday lives.
Carrickfergus Borough Council is one of the leading Councils in Northern Ireland when it comes to recycling and waste management. Our aim is to make this process as easy as possible for our residents, so in addition to the standard Black bin, all homes in the Borough have access to a Blue bin recycling collection for paper, as well as Brown bins for collection of garden waste

| Black Bins |
