Our purpose built Marine Services Area is located on Alexandra Pier, in the old harbour, presided over by the 800 year old Norman Castle. Carrick Marine Projects, a consortium of concessionaires appointed by the Borough Council, operate this facility and provide a range of specialist services.  They pride themselves on delivering personal, bespoke services and are masters at finding solutions to intractable marine problems.

  • Cradle and trailer fabrication and welding
  • Boat maintenance and cleaning

Within the harbour a number of elements combine to create a unique identity. The "inner harbour" has a wonderful collection of craft, which "take the bottom" and provide an attractive area under the shadow of the Castle ramparts. The "Tall Ships" berth still exists on the Alexandra (West) Pier and has hosted a number of notable ships over the years, none more so than "TS Royalist", the Sea Cadet Sail training ship.
