Applications are invited for the following posts:

Janitor, Building Services Department (3 posts)
Salary: Salary scale point 10, £13,336 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 31 ¼ per week
Responsible to: Trades Supervisor
Essential Criteria :
- Have experience of light maintenance work to include, changing a light-bulb, patch painting etc…
- A minimum of 1 years experience in the use of industrial/commercial cleaning equipment, to include floor polishers, carpet cleaners, floor sanders.
- Have an awareness of Health and Safety and COSHH legislation.
- Experience of dealing with members of the public in a service related industry.
- Have basic computer skills, and a good standard of literacy and numeracy.
- Have 1 years experience ensuring premises are secure.
- Have previous experience as working as part of a team, and the ability to work with others as part of a team.
- Must be able to carry out all the duties of the post.
This post will be located at the Carrickfergus Museum & Civic Centre, but may be based at any Council facility.
