Angling

 

The area surrounding Carrickfergus is a freshwater fisherman’s paradise. Seven of the best reservoirs in Northern Ireland lie within the Borough and they hold a rich harvest of brown and rainbow trout.

Sea fishing is available off the rocks and piers at Carrickfergus and Whitehead.
